Description: It is an ideal introduction to this magnificent country. There is nowhere in China quite like Beijing with its awesome Great Wall, enormous Forbidden City and tranquil Summer Palace. Xi'an, you may never know how big the storehouse under this city to discover and study. The Museum of Terra Cotta Warriors is praised as 'the eighth major miracle of the world', which is listed on the World Heritage List.
Day 1 Beijing
On arrival, CITS guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you. You will be transferred to the well-located 3 stars Qianmen Hotel for a three-night stay on a room and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore.

Day 2 Beijing
Morning:
Take a half-day excursion to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square - the biggest of its kind in the world.
Afternoon:
Continue to the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting.

Day 3 Beijing
Morning:
You will take a full day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance.
Afternoon:
Continue to the Ming Tomb, which due to their enormity took over 200 years to complete.

Day 4 Beijing to Xi'an
Morning:
Explore the Temple of Heaven which itself has become a symbol of the city. Here ancient emperor worshipped God and prayed for harvest. Lunch is included today.
Afternoon:
You may wish to take a Hutong Tour by rickshaw to view this, the oldest part of the city and visit a local family for a real insight into the Chinese way of life.
Evening:
Transfer to the rail station and take an overnight soft sleeper train to Xi'an

Day 5 Xi'an
Morning:
Upon arrival, meet the guide and transfer to the Hotel Check in and have a rest. You will visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors where life-sized infantrymen, archer, officers and their horses symbolically guard the tomb of the first Qin emperor.
Afternoon:
Followed by the dramatic Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 6 Xi'an
Morning:
Visit the city Wall that still compasses the center of Xi'an.
Afternoon:
City tour includes the Shanxi History Museum where you will discover how Xi'an became the cradle of Chinese culture.
Evening:
Transfer to the rail station and take an overnight soft sleeper train to Beijing.

Day 7 Xi'an to Beijing
Morning:
Upon arrival, meet the guide and transfer to the airport for your flight to your homeland. Alternatively, extend your stay.
