The great tour will show you to the province of Shanxi which is called the 'Chinese Ancient Architecture Museum'. You will experience the atmosphere of ancient times.
Day 1 Beijing to Taiyuan

Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Taiyuan.

Day 2 Taiyuan to Pingyao
Morning:
Pick up at the railway station and have a view of the Qiaojia Yard which is a yard for the business man in Ming dynasty. Then the coach will take you to the Twin-Pagoda Temple, a symbol of Taiyuan on account of its unique architecture.
Afternoon:
Driving to Pingyao and have a view of Double Forest Temple. Double Forest Temple has now a history of 1400 years. It is famous for its colored clay figurines. There are 2052 figurines of Song, Yuan and Ming.

Day 3 Pingyao to Taiyuan

Today just have an overall view of Pingyao Ancient City. Being one of the four wholly-protected ancient cities in China, Pingyao Ancient City is thought of as the 'treasure house' of ancient Chinese architectures. You will pass through the ancient town and take a walk along the street to fully appreciate the atmosphere of the city. You can also take some local snacks such as Pingyao Beef that has been well-known from the Ming Dynasty.

Drive back to Taiyuan. Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Beijing.

Arrive at Beijing railway station in the morning.
