Day 1 Beijing to Kunming

Transfer to take the flight to Kunming. After arrival, meet your guide at airport and transfer to the hotel.The city is located in central Yunnan Province and is praised as the city of eternal spring. Rest of day you will be at leisure.

Day 2 Kunming to Dali
Morning:
Transfer to airport for morning flight to Dali (45 minutes). Dali was the capital of Nanzhao and Dali Kingdom as early as 1,300 years ago.Upon arrival, visit the Three Pagodas that are considered landmark of the region, standing in a way of a tripod on the outskirts of old town.
Afternoon:
Have a cruise on the Erhai Lake, a lake that seems specially designed for a good, bountiful life for the local people. Rest of the day will be at leisure for your own discovery of the old town Dali.

Day 3 Dali to Lijiang
Morning:
3 hours driving along the new highway to Lijiang. Lijiang is a small mountain town of stone and tile, laced with swift canals, which was enlisted as an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in 1999.
Afternoon:
Upon arrival in Lijiang, visit also the Baisha village with its frescos dating back to Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Day 4 Lijiang
Morning:
Explore the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Mountain), which is the most amazing place in Lijiang.
Afternoon:
Drive out to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountains. Visit the Yuhu Village, a simple village of Naxi minority with the former residence of Dr. Joseph Rock. Dr. Rock, an Austro-American botanist and explorer who lived here from 1922 to 1949.
Evening:
Enjoy the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at Dongba Palace after dinner.

Day 6 Lijiang to Shangri-la

Morning drive to Shangri-la also named Zhongdian with stops and visits to the First Bend of the Yangzi River and the Tiger Leaping Gorge on the way. Arrive Shangri-la in the late afternoon, and check in the hotel.

Day 7 Shangri-la
Morning:
Visit Ganden Songzanlin Monastery in the morning. Songzanlin Monastery, the biggest monastery in Shangri-la, more than 500 lamas lives and studies here. Then make an excursion to the Bitahai Lake is knowed as "A Pearl on the Platea" and the most attractive lake in Shangri-La.
Afternoon:
Visit a Tibetan family. You can taste Tibetan specialties of yak butter tea, local yogurt and Tibetan barley.
