The hotel is located at the very heart of Shanghai, on the legendary Nanjing Lu, right in the middle of all the bustle and hustle of this historic road. The Hongqiao International Airport is a mere 13 Kms away, the railway station and harbor are only 5 Kms away, whilst the famous Bund is only a 3km walk.
The new Pudong Airport can be reached within 70 minutes by car or bus. The Shanghai subway has an entrance in front of the hotel and it is extremely convenient to get to most of the famous tourist attractions and commercial districts of Shanghai from here.
The Hotel, built in 1934, was the highest architectural structure at that time. The Hotel is located in the heart of the commercial district, right in the downtown area, opposite Peoples Park and only a 3 minute walk to the Shanghai Art Museum and a 10 minute walk to the Shanghai Municipality and Shanghai Museum.
